Anyways, If you guys know after having super oily and sensitive skin, I am suggested to use Ahaglow S – Salicylic Acid with Glycolic Acid Foaming Face Wash from last 6 months but last time because of its unavailability, I had to get it’s alternative face wash. Even though I was very satisfied with the results but I wanted to use the one suggested by dermatologist. Check out full review here:-

P5080866My Take on the Product

Since, this is a medicated face wash so I had no other expectations but hope! to get the clean, clear and matte skin. Being a medicated face wash, the packaging thing didn’t bother me much. Still if I look at the packaging, its not boring but its not fancy or girly too.

By the very first usage, I was so troubled by its foaming pump which looked broken or improper to me as I had to press it very hard multiple times to take out enough foam. Anyhow I managed to use the entire face wash with broken pump (It was not broken exactly). While buying my next Ahaglow S, I became lil cautious and asked the Medical Store guy to check the pump and made a complaint about my last broken/improper foaming pump. This time the pump assured me that it was not broken but it works like this only. Overall, I am not very convinced by this foaming pump at all. Every time I buy Ahaglow S, I just transfer the entire product into my vacant Himalayas Lemon Foaming Face Wash  bottle 😉

This product could look pricey to some gals as compare to other face washes. It has no smell at all and the great thing I noticed is, even after its tooo hot, I somehow still manage to get the skin which is not oily as usual. As per the doctors, Glycolic Acid is used for chemical peeling for problematic skin so its good to have it in face wash which helps unclogged facial pores by shredding dead skin cells. This foaming face wash is good for dull and problematic faces. It also manage to keep the healthy glow on facial skin. Sensitive skins may find it harsh so don’t use it before doing any patch test or consult with your doctor.

After using this face wash, I noticed that few dark spots on my face started fading naturally or sometimes this face wash helped them to peel off from skin easily without leaving any mark. Overall, Its a great buy PATCHY FACES, OILY FACES, ACNE-FULL FACES, SPOTTY FACES please go and get one!

    Hello Purti,

Its a legit question, first of all its a medicated face wash, my dermatologist recomended it for me. For your case, you dunno what is that thing causing pimples. If it is hormonal, then obviously no face wash can stop those pimples. If it is generated by that oily bacterial skin then yes, this face wash cud be a good help.

Secondly, as per my experience; every time you start something new, skin kinda reacts before adjusting to new product. Use it for few weeks, if you still feel its harsh and u are getting new pimples. Just leave it and consult with the doctor coz this face wash is harsh and not made for everybody’s skin.

You might want to try “Ahaglow” instead of “Ahaglow S”. Here “S” means Salicylic Acid. which is harsh, Try using just “Ahaglow” which is gentle towards skin..

Hope you found your reply 🙂

    Hello,

Please don’t try this face wash, if your skin is Dry, you can rather prefer Ahaglow Gel Not the Ahaglow s (S is considered as Salicylic Acid, which will make your skin crack)
