Hi Girls,
As I was running out of facial Cleanser, I got my hands on Garnier Pure Active Pore unclogging wash. For the travelling purpose, I wanted to go for the old medicated cleanser Ahaglow S I was using but I didn’t find it and had to go for Ahaglow.
You guys might be wondering the difference between these two, Ahaglow S, this “S” denotes the Salicylic Acid this face wash contains and Ahaglow without S does’t contain the salicylic acid in it. Glycolic acid face washes are becoming a hit these days as their natural properties to gently exfoliate the skin and thereby helping in achieving a new improved skin free of all skin problems.
Price: INR 199 for 100g
Shelf Life: 24 months
About the product, Ingredients, How to use:
My take on Ahaglow Skin Rejuvenating Face Wash Gel – Due to very oily skin even I was suggested to use the Ahaglow S by a dermatologist and i think this is the great answer to all the skin problems like pimples, acne, blemishes, wrinkles etc. Ahaglow Skin Rejuvenating Face Wash Gel comes in a yellowish transparent simple & sober looking tube with a flip open cap which is usually a great thing I could found in any great product as these kind of caps looks sturdy, clean and travel friendly.
Although this Rejuvenating Face Wash Gel is only found on medical stores but doesn’t contains any medicated smell and has really soft smell that anyone could handle it. While looking at the tube, colorful beads in the gel are easily visible.
As I took the small amount on my palm, I could really notice the shaky gel consistency which is neither very thick nor too runny and colorful beads in it. Unlike other face washes, it doesn’t create much lather but it is not disappointing as this product contains most of the natural products like Aloe-vera gel, gel base etc. These beads are easily melt down while washing the face. I must say that from the first use it made my skin look and feel so clean and refreshing. Since the product claims that it works by eliminating dead skin cells and unclogging pores, it provides a healthy glow to skin and makes it appear renewed and brighter. It is also helping drying out few dark patches here and there which easily tear off from the face after 2 or 3 days. I’m also noticing that it does help in fading the dark spots. However people with dry skin should only use once a day with moisturizer.
Overall, a great product to help improve skin tone, texture and reveal a new improved skin and I’ll surely recommend it to the people with problematic and dull skin.

April 22, 2014Dear Anitha! Go for the Ahaglow S face wash its medicated and recommended by the doctors but if you have so much of sensitive skin then i think it will be harsh for you so get it Ahaglow. Check out the medical stores especially the one which is close to any dermatologist clinic… or you can order it online

March 28, 2014Dear James,
I was already using a medicated Cleanser Ahaglow S which contains Salicylic + Glycolic acid but Last time I didn’t find it on medical stores so I had to go for the Ahaglow without salicylic acid.. and its mild than the previous one.. But its working fine for me 🙂 if you want you can give it a shot with small packaging.
