DIY: I Made My Own Customized Sesame Seed Hair Oil

I’v always mentioned my hair type in all the hair articles on site. I was literally shredding bunch of hair at every wash from 2-3 years. On my pillow, on dressing table, in washroom, on sofa, I could see them everywhere. In order to stop all that hair fall drama, I availed diverse hair oils, took natural hair loss treatment, changed shampoos, stopped using conditioners and hair tools or anything which could lead to dry & damaged hair. I tried almost everything but I could only see spending money but no results. I was almost ready to use any kind of hair growth oil or black magic to stop hair loss 😉 .

I started eating healthy, continued my Homeopathic Hair Fall treatment, at the same time, did some research about sesame oil benefits and made my own customized sesame oil for hair.

Usually people use coconut hair oil for this but since I got to know about sesame seed oil so I decided to use sesame oil including olive oil, amla, curry leaves and make my best hair oil ever at home.

What all You need Customized Sesame Seed Hair Oil

• 1 cup of Sesame Seed Oil (Prefer cold pressed oils)
• Half cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• Bunch of Curry Leaves
• 1, 2 small chopped fresh amla pieces

How to make it

• Wash all the curry leaves and keep it on a plate or newspaper and let them dry till and make sure there is no moisture left in curry leaves otherwise they will turn bad while heating.
• Take a pan and turn on the gas on medium flame. Put sesame seed oil and olive oil in the pan. Heat it and turn off the flames when it’s heated

• Put all the ingredients in heated oil, Strictly take care that the oil should not be heated on very high flames, your aim is to infuse the curry leaves and amla in oil. So make sure, you don’t burn it.
• Let it cool down and take care that olive oil for hair and amla is properly immersed in the oil. Take a plastic/glass container put the infused oil in the jar.
• The amla we put in the oil was fresh green so there are chances that oil can turn bad and could smell so it is always advised to keep that jar in sunlight for a week, if you have added the fresh amla.

I like to use this curry leaves and amla infused sesame seed oil 2 times a week and leave it overnight so that my scalp and hair could properly absorbed the oil and its benefits. I am using this hair oil from last 2 months and touch wood It dramatically stopped hair fall and enjoying flaunting my long hair 😉
