Everybody is so overwhelmed by the ongoing sloppy BB and CC creams by different brands and now we have started seen the adverts of new Fair & Lovely BB Cream. Brand served it in introductory packaging and which could turn into the bigger tube after the satisfactory results. Here is my take on Fair & Lovely BB Cream:-

My take on Fair & Lovely BB Cream

I loved the packaging and its colors at the first place & love this small hygienic yet handy tube of BB cream. Now come to the reality, I have faced. According to me it was brand new packaging I was handed by the shopkeeper so I didn’t feel to open and check it. As I open the tube at home, I could see inner lid/tube tip was badly messed up. It looked like either the packaging was damaged or it was used/tested multiple times by the shop customers. I don’t know if I should blame the brand for not sealing it properly or I should have checked while buying.

I am not sure because of the leaked up tube but you have to press it hard while moving your fingers above to get the generous amount of product. I felt like the product is not even the half of this tube, I mean the tube is lot bigger than the amount of cream it contains.

Fragrance – If you have ever used the regular fair & lovely multivitamin cream, you could easily relate with the same smell it offers. The fragrance is not very strong but a cosmetic fruity smell.

Consistency and texture is very similar to the regular fair & lovely cream. The texture looks matte, non oily and drying but which is ok for Oily skin people like me. If incase, you’re looking something light weight to put on in this hot weather then forget it. While you wear it, you can easily feel the matte waxy layer on your face through your fingers.

As the product claims, it is a foundation plus fairness cream and contains SPF 15, multivitamins; which is really great actually. But at the same time, you can’t expect the strong coverage from it. I have few acne marks on my face, I don’t think it covered them all but I had to dab it twice in hope to cover them a bit.

Overall, I am happy with this BB cream with so many qualities except the fact that I was expecting much more quantity in this tube. I think, I am surely gonna use it until I feel any negative after effects like acne etc. A big thumbs up for this cream 🙂
