Healthy, delicious and oh my god so-simple to make. . . The corn bhel will rule the roost as one of my all time favourite snack! Not only this but Corn mixed in bhel as a fusion brings out a different tatte.
Preparation Time: 15 mins
Cooking Time: 5 mins
Makes 4 servings
1 1/2 cups boiled tender corn kernels
2 medium boiled potatoes
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 to 2 green chillies
A pinch of asafoetida
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
Note the recipe:
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan, add the cumin seeds and allow them to crackle.
- Add the onions, green chillies, asafoetida and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes, till the onions are translucent.
- Add the tomatoes, corn, potatoes, lemon juice, coriander, sugar and salt and mix well.
- Garnish with the coriander and sev and serve immediately.
