L’Oréal Paris Kajal Magique Review

Hi Girls,

How are you all doing and how was your weekend? Mine was good as I got to watch ” The Wolf of Wall Street” this weekend and after that I got down with fever. So it was good and bad. Anyways, I’ve got a kajal Magique from L’Oréal Paris so check out my review here:

DSC_0277When I came to know L’Oréal Paris launches Kajal Magique – the first ever Kajal from the brand, I actually had mix feelings in my mind like they are first timers so it could be an average product like others or it could be proved as a tykoon of Kajals.

When I got my hands on the package, I was not very excited as I own so many of them with the same kind of packaging. From last few months, after being disappointed from Lakme Eyeconic Kajal, I am generously using Maybelline Colassal Kajal, never given second thoughts about it. Not Just me but advised others to pick one.

My Take on the Product:  Kajal is counted as a cannot-live-without stuff in my makeup routine or it can be said, I just think it as a daily food for my eyes so I never turn on to high priced kajals for daily usage. When I first saw the price, I almost undoubted and whispered if it is a Kajal or A Gold stick? 😉 Whatever!

The Product comes in Black and Fuschia colour packaging. Although it is not suggested to uncover the entire lid but just to check its real lid color, I opened it carefully till the edge. I just couldn’t see the shiny finish on the lid like other kajals. I found it good as most of the long lasting products comes in Matte finish. Like Lakme Kajal was in creamy finish, which made it short-lived. Kajal Magique’s Lid look like a pigmented dark coal lid to me.

I am still kind of feeling a bit down with fever and shivering so I didn’t get a chance to go out. To check out its longevity, I did some swatches on my hands. They were really matte & dark. The swatches on my hands really skipped from my mind and I left them like that. After half an hour or so, I really was not able to see any smudges on my hand. Even after rubbing in medium strokes, it didn’t smudge like others. I was really amazed to see that even after medium smudging, I couldn’t harm those swatches.

I am not into wearing contact lenses but Since the day I’ve started using Kajal. I never saw any product mentioned “suitable for contact lens wearers” So this is really a great news for the girls who wear contact lenses or have sensitive eyes.

This product really proved to be true in terms of great Pigmentation to give deep intense colour and waterproof. The Price looked some what high to me as I am truly a Kajal Animal and have to replace kajal in every fortnight. But after looking at its quality and everything, It really changed my mind and convinced me to use it especially to  get an Emo and cat-eye look.

Overall, I am happy to see L’Oréal Paris Kajal Magique is surely a player for Long Race and one of the main product from my cosmetics Kit. Fully Recommended!
