Review: Revlon’s Mad About Mauve Lipstick #304 & FOTD

Hi Girls,

I am mad about make-up and in every fortnight my make-up concentration shifts to different stuff. Last month, I was more into hair and eye make-up stuff and from last few days I have become a mad about mauve lipstick.

This is the first ever Revlon lipstick I am mad about using this lipstick every single time I get ready. Don’t Believe? Ohk, let me prove it for you! In my every single Lipstick Review, I’ve always been a fan about lipstick with orange & peach hues till now but this one with pink hue is the best! Let’s check out it’s full review here:-

My Take on Mad About Mauve:- By the very first time I got this lipstick from Jabong, I was not very delighted to get this shade and I thought it to gift it to someone. I am not a very big fan of mauve shade, I always thought it as a womanly not girly shade 😉 But then I thought to give this lipstick a try once as I’ve never used any Revlon lipstick.

This lipstick comes in a black tube with golden stripe on, REVLON embossed on it. You know one thing 😉 I like those packaging which makes a “tick” sound while I put the cover on 🙂 When I roll on this liptick to take the lipstick out, Its so smooth and lipstick comes out so easily.

Consistency, I am in love with its buttery smooth consistency, this is the very first thing anyone can notice from its very first use. It glides on the lips so smoothly like a butter.

The color of this lipstick looks slightly differ in the case and on lips. It looks lil lighter with pink hue while on lips. On the other side, it gives the hues of brown color while it is in tube. This lipstick neither give you any smell not it gives any flavor while on lips. So sensitive nose girls need not to worry about the smell. While on lips, this lipstick give the very smooth creamy lips.

This lipstick is not very long lasting coz of its creaminess may be but it doesn’t have very short stay too. It can last on lips for almost 3 4 hour if worn with care. This shade of the lipstick can be worn on daily basis in day or night. Its not too bright so can be worn with chilling out with friends or going for local shopping. This shade not only looks great on fair skin tone but suitable for dark skin tones too.
