CITY GIRL CHEEK STAIN REVIEW – ROSE

It has been a while since I posted my last review ( L’OREAL PARIS SKIN PERFECT ANTI-IMPERFECTIONS + WHITENING CREAM ). Today I am back with another review of one of my favourite Cheeks stain. I am truly loving this sheer cheeks stain. Check out the picture below, I am wearing it on my cheeks.

My take on CITY GIRL CHEEK STAIN

Since I have self-confessed make-up addict. I love everything which is bright and colorful, this rose cheeks stain served the same purpose. Let’s start with its packaging, I loved the kind of packaging it comes in. It’s very, compact, handy and travel friendly. The packaging and consistency are almost like a silvery shiny soft pink lipstick. Anyways the overall packaging is nice white and cute looking adorned with a pink heart on opener.

As the name suggests, I was expecting it to have some kind of rosy smell but it doesn’t have any, and i think that’s great. Although I am not allergic to smells but its good to use products on face with no fragrance. I am aware of creamy cheek stains from long time, but having super oily skin made me to consider the powder blushes.

The shade is very soft pink, looks like your own pinky glow while it is put on the cheeks. It contains very fine sheen particles which makes it look silvery pink and give your skin a dewy glow. When you’re in mood to use less number of products on your face, It can also serves the purpose of duo sometimes – Blusher and highlighter.

Overall, I am liking its color, finishing and consistency, it’s also paraben free; the only things I am concerned about it is, I am not sure about its ingredients which might or might not contain any comedogenic thing. I am super allergic to the cosmetics which clogs my skin pores and give me few more acne. While I am unaware of its ingredients, that’s the reason I keep the usage of this cheeks stain very minimal.

Also What I believe is, creamy cheek stains are made for dry & normal skin. While having super oily skin, I prefer to use it only in winters. Summers are just around the corner, I am not sure, if this cheeks stain will made its place in my first make-up drawer. I will soon bid a VERY GOOD BYE to this cheeks stain and welcome it again in next winters.

This cheek stain is super cool and is surely recommended for fair skin tones and to the girls with normal to dry skin.
