My Take on the Product
The Coloressence Compact Powder comes in a simple yet sleek packaging breakable plastic tub looking container which doesn’t signify the luxury but a practical and easy to carry around packaging with a puff. This compact has a soft, creamy looking texture which gives the smooth coverage while applying. While I swatch it on my hand it gives me a satin looking touch to my finger. If you’ve got the perfect shade for skin, It really feels very light weight and looks natural on the skin. For my skin, it goes medium coverage and doesn’t look cakey on layering and very easy to blend with puff or brush. I prefer to use it by brush and found it quite easy going on dry patches as well as compared to most other cheap compacts in the market. As the Company name suggests, most of its active ingredients are natural which are know to be the great for skin like Alovera Extract, Rose Oil, Clove oil. All these 3 can be found in the skin care essentials so its good to have the natural elements in it.
I love it how its gives my oily skin a fresh and matte look in this reasonable price. Once set well on the great foundation, it stays well for 5+ hours in this season. Overall, I find this quite great on my skin – apart from the occasional blotting on the T-zone in summers and in my sweating moments, it doesn’t need much maintenance dry and normal skin people and doesn’t break down with the oils of my skin.
My skin side is red/pink so I have some redness on my skin forever which is evened out fairly well with this compact. Few times when I am not in mood to pack on my face with lots of layers, I only need a concealer for under eyes, a layer of this Coloressence Compact Powder and I am all set to go 🙂
Overall, I think it is a great to have this alternative with a great price which I can see myself wearing throughout the year if not in mood to spend much on cosmetics. The smooth textured formula with all natural products which you can wear it in the day time as well as the evening.
