Yesterday, just by chance i visited small cosmetic shop and being an explorer, I love to give trial to different category brands high-end and average. Usually, i like to wear waterproof kajal pencils as a kajal & liner as well but  this time, I choose to buy this Eye Kohl Gel Liner. Which may look unimpressive to so many girls as it looked to me. FYI: Most of you may be known to VOV cosmetics, this insight is VOV’s brand only. So check out my experience with this cheap gel eyeliner.

My Experience with INSIGHT EYE KOHL GEL EYE LINER:- 

Packaging, The packaging of this eye kohl gel liner is pretty ordinary, simple and dull looking. My first impression of this product was….issssshhh its looking like a local cheap eye product and I am not gonna waste a single penny on it. The packaging is the combination of black and gold color. Emo (cat) eyes with broad kohl are scribbled on the packaging.

This Eye kohl gel comes in a very small breakable glass tub with a with too long triangular tail looking lid on it. which looked lil funny and reminded me those old traditional SURMEDANI with a long stick, where home-made surma (kajal/kohl) used to be inside it.  Actually this triangular shape looking lid is its detachable brush which is really cool! One of the reason I never appreciated gel liners was this brush thingy coz I tend to lose and leave brush here and there. but here this small brand has given the solution and made this brush detachable. Not only this but I got one eye drops looking bottle as a cleanser to clean the brush after every usage. Kool Huhhh???

 

Brush, I must say the brush is really great, if you are looking for a broad cat eye, of if you opt to smudge your kajal then its a really great brush to use. It too cute, small and handy. Now the twist is, if you find this brush too small to hold a perfect grip then the keep the brush upward, open the liner’s lid and attach its back side to the brush to add more length for a perfect hold 😉

Consistency & Pigmentation, The one and only negative i think of this product is its consistency, This gel liner looked Lil dried out to me or may be brand has made it this way to make it waterproof and long-lasting. This gel liner comes in a very intense black, no second thoughts on it. You really get the intense black liner look from this gel liner.

Wear Time, This gel liner is very long-lasting. I made some swatches to click the images for this review and let me tell you girls, I washed my hands multiple time but it didn’t come out properly till the time i rubbed it with my fingers firmly.

Overall, I am happy with the purchase! You are getting, waterproof, smudge proof, gel liner with a brush and a brush cleanser, what else do to need in Rs 199 girl??
