You might have got the idea that I am purely a lipstick girl and today I am reviewing Loreal Paris Color Riche Collection Star range – Pure Rouge Shade. First of all I am always keen to experiment different stuff, if you ask me I have never owned any red lipstick before. This is the very first red lipstick shade I’ve got my hands on. My Take on Loreal Paris Color Riche Collection Star range
This lipstick comes in a black color packaging, sealed up by polythene packaging with details, price and other ingredients mentioned on it. The plastic tube packaging has a shade card built on it, so it’s easy to look for the perfect red lipstick shade you are looking for. The packaging is travel friendly. As these matte shades are chosen by 7 ionic L’Oréal Paris ambassadors, “Frieda” is scribbled on the lipstick. As it is a Frieda Pinto’s perfect red lipstick choice.
I am a big fan of Rhianna, so I was looking for Rhianna red lipstick, as well as I wanted a blue based red lipstick for fair skin. And I finally got it! 
As the product claims, “The Velvet Fusion capsules and Ultra Gliding Shine Oils provide smooth and silky application”. These are the matte lipsticks but trust me and I can bet on it that this is the Smoothest matte lipstick I’ve ever used. This lipstick glides on my lips similar to applying melted wax on my lips, I mean literally! At very first application, I actually felt like a common girl and thought for moment that “its gliding so smoothly that I am gonna run out of this tube soon” 😉
This red lipstick has blue and brown undertones and proved to be a perfect red lipstick for me. It is really pigmented and rich in color. I didn’t need to rub it back and forth multiple times to take a swatch or get those perfect red lips. 1 stroke is all you need and you are good to go girl! The application made my dry lips look velvety & smooth.
It may glide on lips too smoothly but it really stays for long as it claims. One more thing to notice is, it does have some rich tint in it. After removing the lipstick from wet wipes, I could still see the remaining red tint stains on my lips. Be careful Girls: Don’t go for the lipstick, you can’t afford tissues or wet wipes coz you really need wet wipes and need to make extra efforts to get rid of it 😉
The lipstick may look lil pricey but I must say, it’s totally worth it! I am swear by this product and recommend it to everybody, who loves red!
