Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara Review

Hi Beauties!

I’m using this Maybelline Colossal Mascara since last Year and trying hard to review it but couldn’t. And finally the day has come to pen down the review for you guys!

Maybelline India™ - Colossal Kajal review Albeit an eye make-up addict, I’ve not tried on lots of Mascaras since now. A good eyeliner cum Kajal like kajal Magique from L’Oréal Paris  is always my first focus but this time, I’ve shown some bravery to loose my wallet to spend on a great voluminous Mascara ;) Ohk Let’s talk true story buddy, My mom just bought something from a cosmetic store as she was not very sure to use that and felt to return the product back. So I got the opportunity to pick something in the similar price. Got it?? I’m sure you ;)

Price: Its Rs. 280 now Maybelline India™ - Colossal Kajal

My Take on the Product: Since I am not a Mascara addict, price with durability is my first concern… the very first thing clicked in my mind was, Am I really getting a quality product in this price? I felt it lil pricey in terms of buying it since I had pretty much no experience with mascaras. I decided to give it a try and I’m loving it! Maybelline India™ - Colossal Kajal The Mascara comes in a quirky Yellow Colour tube, which makes it a unique looking product. This Mascara has two variants. The normal and waterproof one. As the blog title suggests, mine is Waterproof one. The product lettering is in fuschia colour. This Mascara has a thick wand to give a volumizing lashes and the bristles are neatly arranged along the length of the wand. I’m not sure If I really need to try on some other thin looking wand as for a first timer it was not much convenient to use for my smaller inner and lower lashes. Maybelline India™ - Colossal Kajal   Its has really thick pasty consistency but it has its downside. This consistency sometime creates a mess. Every-time I open the lid, I can see the extra product comes out in a form of thread, that is actually enough to create a mess for new users. It coats the lashes well in a single pass but I like to go back and forth for a few times to get the maximum volume.    Apart from that the formula sets pretty fast and dry quickly after applying on the lashes. It really enhance the volume and length of lashes to make them look thicker and fuller which is a great thing. I have pretty lush lashes and adding some volume and thickness really does the fantastic job to make my eyes look fancy and more sensuous. And the great thing I noticed is, It doesn’t make the lashes stiff or weight them down.    Overall, the product is pocket friendly as the purchase is truly worth it in the amount I’ve paid. It adds a good length and volume to the lashes without clumping which solves the overall purpose. Totally Recommended!
