My Take on the Product:
At very first sight, What i got this gold color small bottle in my hand, I was so in love with the kind of packaging this nail Paint has <3 , cylindrical glass bottles with black screw open cap make it look so trendy and handy as well to carry with us too. Seems like you have got the gold treasure in your hands
The bristles: Bristles also play an important in any nail laquer. Personally i don’t like the applicator which is too broad or too thin. According to me the applicator has perfect size and is friendly for the one time application. The consistancy is liquidy and the texture is thick enough to cover the nails in first coat itself. This golden shade really has great amount of pigmentation so that you don’t even need extra coats & you are good to go. But still for the safer side and to keep it long lasting, I had to apply two coats on my nails. Yeah, the bristles helped me to spread the thick nail colour texture all over the nail within one application easily
Colour Show’s Bold Gold has subtle shimmers with sheen effect and i think it is a wonderful shade in this price. This shade really give you so much grace. Have a look at my nails, this shade is kind of party wear and looked so classy on my nails. Say it red, black or white, this is a kind of shade which will go approximately every outfit. So I’ve decided to wear it especially in night parties!
I am happy with the colour and how it turns out on my nails. No doubt the application is so easy which I always wanted with a nail colour which is one stroke application with quick dry but I am always more concern about the longevity of nail paints as well. According to me i didn’t feel it so durable, It started ripping just after 2- 3 days even though i had two coats.
Whatever the quality is, the application of this Bold GOLD shade make my hands looked more lengthy and beautiful. If you notice, some nail paints make your fingers/hands look more dark then they really are but I am amazed how it turned out to be and make my hands looks more fair and pretty
My Failed experiment with Maybelline New York Colour Show Gold (008):
I’ve seen some review but it that these nail colours is best suitable for nail arts stamping and drawing designs on the nails. And some other nail art bloggers loving this Maybelline New York Colour Show Nail Colours very much. But What happned to me? After applying this Colour Show Bold Gold shade, I thought to give it a lil extra edge. In order to achieve French Manicure type nail design, I started applying French Nail Tip Guides to colour my tips Black or may be silver but as i removed tip guides, the painted gold part just ripped off with the tip guides and I failed to achieve those french tips. Finally I had to apply it again and stick those nail art stickers as shown in NOTD.
