I am absolutely a big fan of Maybelline Colossal Waterproof Mascara but this time I was looking for something herbal and organic; so I got a chance to use this cute little herbal tube from Palladio Cosmetics. Let’s not waste the time & move forward for this chemical free mascara review 😉

Palladio Beauty is America’s most popular brand of herbal and vitamin enriched makeup. This uniquely packaged mascara comes with a brush on the one end, and a lash separator on the other. It’s completly natural formula made of ginseng, green tree, gingko biloba, chamomile and aloe vera not only gives dense lashes, but strengthens them.

How to use

Wiggle the wand of mascara, from the roots of the lashes to the ends. After finishing one, separate the lashes with the separator. Add another coat for thicker lashes.

My Take on the Palladio Herbal Thickening Mascara

These days my focus is purely shifting on to anything organic, whether it’s an organic food or organic beauty products. Organic products doesn’t only keep your body problem free but let you purify from inside out. Let’s talk about its packaging: This mascara tube comes in a black color. I got in love with its unique packaging, you not only get the great mascara wand but it also comes with a lash separator & a small brow comb. I loved this great idea to get everything at one place without messing up or carry things separately. This is really a travel friendly combo.

The consistency: The texture of this mascara has dried-out looking form. Unlike lots of other mascaras it doesn’t have liquid or gel looking consistency. Look at the image of its wand, It actually looks like, it is dried out and need to throw it immediately. Doesn’t it?

Few things I look in to buy any mascara is, a best mascara for length, to thicken my eye lashes & a best smudge proof mascara. Since it’s an organic mascara, I felt like not to keep my expectations very high but should be glad to get an herbal mascara. But I don’t actually think this way; even though it’s an organic product, I still want dense and thick looking lashes and If I am paying 550 bucks then I REALLY MEAN IT GIRLS!!!

I loved the application and applied almost 2-3 coats by going back & forth. As the product claims “Thickening Mascara”, I am not very convinced with the thickness effects it gives. It’s true that this mascara is not going to harm my eyes from any chemicals, surely made my lashes look lengthy & sensuous but not thick. For some time, my lashes looked great but I couldn’t see mascara’s long-lasting effects.

Overall, this mascara got flunk in the board exams 😉 and didn’t cater my eyes well to give me a great reason to approve it. I am not gonna spend my 550 bucks on it again ;( So NO NO for me!!!
