My Take on PANTENE TOTAL DAMAGE CARE INTENSIVE HAIR MASK:-

Even though I was pretty much happy with Dove Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner and was using it from last one year but I wanted to give it a try to this product. This hair mask comes in a white giant looking tub with a screw and flipped open cap. The packaging of this product looked an average to me but as I always mention these kind of lids are not travel friendly. These caps can open easily and damage the other stuff around. This tub looks like giant at first sight and it feels like you gonna steal the deal by getting tub full of hair mask in this price but mind it girls, YOU ARE NOT! If you flip the tub, you see a small container inside filled with mask.

This mask is creamy and light weight & spreads very well on hair. I found It’s consistency similar to any other conditioner, only slightly thicker. It smells like any other Pantene product.

As the product mentions, use this mask after conditioning, initially I followed the same directions but It made my hair look more greasy, weigh down and nobody wants that. Personally, I don’t recommend this mask to use it after conditioner unless you have  too dry and damaged hair. Not only this, even if you leave this hair mask for 5 or 6 minutes, you’ll end up getting greasy hair.

I apply it on my hair avoiding the scalp and focusing on the ends and leave it for about 3 – 4 minutes and then rinse it off with water. It is quite easy to remove this mask but I don’t see any prominent changes in the texture of my hair. Basically, it just works great as a conditioner and prevent it from further damage. I would recommend to use it occasionally as it is chemically loaded.

Personal recipe: I’ve naturally curly, wavy locks and when I am in mood to flaunt, I leave this mask for 5 6 min and rinse to get those enhanced luscious waves.

Overall, the girls who are looking for a conditioner only can opt out for this product. I don’t consider it as a great mask.
