5 Minutes Healthy Rice Recipe of Left Over Dahi & Rice

Sometimes, its gets to difficult to decide the all 3 meals for a day and when it comes to healthy recipe for breakfast it really take all the nerves but here is a quick rice recipe to batten down the hatches. And when its all about saving the last night’s left over food and prepare the healthy recipes for breakfast, It’s a boon in disguise. Let’s get started:

Servings 4

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups Rice
  • 2 cups yogurt
  • 1 tbs cooking oil
  • 2 finely chopped green chillies
  • 1 tbs mustard seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 7-8 curry leaves
  • Few pinches of Asofetida
  • Fresh coriander to garnish

Mix the beaten curd and boiled rice together. Heat a cooking pan/wok on medium flame and put the oil in it. Once the oil is heated enough, put mustard seeds and let them crack. After that put the green chillies, curry leaves & Asofetida in oil. Now its time to put mixed curd rice  in wok so be careful to turn the heat on very low flame or turn off the gas otherwise curd will start burning. Just mix everything and sprinkle the salt as per your taste.

And Tadaaa! Your healthy cooling Dahi Rice is ready in 5 min!

Garnish with coriander and serve hot! 🙂
