Hi Everyone,

Yes, it was my second trip to Mahabaleshwar after 2 long years. As the peak season is going on it was all too crowded, hot and humid but anyways even this time we enjoyed as the last time. If you’re wondering about the attractions and then let me tell you, mahabaleshwar is all about lush green mountains, valleys and woods. There is not much such as attractions. Overall, there are lots of points to visit such as kates mountain, table top, sunset point etc, it means wherever you go, you just happened to visit mountains from different sides. 😉 Except visiting mountains, tourists also like to visit famous Mapro Garden, where you can buy different mapro syrups, sauces, food essences etc. Strawberries and its farms can be seen everywhere in mahabaleshwar.

Some people might feel a bit disappointing but we prefer to rent an average room instead of expensive ones and specially the local boutique hotels where we can enjoy the local cuisine and get introduced to the local lives. Our room was just 5 min walking distance away from Mapro Garden, and connected to the little village. We not only sipped our morning tea while sitting in balcony but enjoyed the small rain drops tipping on our faces. We also had the opportunity to walk around that small village early morning, seeing women cooking on home-made stove, kids brushing teeth and getting ready for school, running chickens here and there on the road. Overall, it was an awesome trip!
