Bra Guide: How to Find a Perfect Bra for you?

How to Find a Perfect Bra for you

Considering the fact that four out of five women wear the wrong-size bra, not because they want to but they actually don’t know what things to look for while buying a perfect bra. We say it’s worth the time and effort to measure before you buy your next bra. It is always important to look for bra size calculator, bra size chart and to know bra types for different purpose. In short and sweet, it’s always necessary to make a checklist or remember this while buying your bra.

Material Matters

Even though it is usually depends on our pocket but we can’t deny the fact that branded bras usually take care of material. And you have to choose wisely because not all material suits your skin. We’re sure you don’t wanna spend on Bras every other month, but instead you want something that will last long at least for 6 to 8 months without getting damaged and for that you want the material to be quality and natural. Something that will suit to your skin but comfortable at the same time. If you have sensitive skin or allergic to few man-made synthetics or living in a warm weather place, what you ought to avoid are certainly synthetic fabrics. Cheap Price Bras is indeed lower than the branded ones, but not only will they trip down easily and the chances are that it won’t feel comfortable when you have them on. Moreover, synthetic materials tend to give allergy and stick to the body and may contain harmful toxins.

Adjustable/detachable Straps

After you have selected or chosen the Bra material, the straps part can’t be ignored. The first thing to notice in straps is if they are comfortable to wear and stay in place. Not only the straps are responsible for keeping your bra in place but straps provide additional lift to your bra. Also keep in mind that what kind of dresses you are going on wear upon it. Are they formal or only traditional wear or off shouldered party wear evening gowns. Especially look for detachable straps, if you’re planning to wear the bra randomly. Who knows, the next day you are rocking the party floor with broad neck or off shoulder dress 🙂  ?

When we’re counting on its comfort-ability, you should be able to slip a finger between your shoulder and strap and able to readjust your straps with every dress. If you’ve adjusted your straps and they still fall off, always remember that either the band is too big or not adjusted properly or your bra has lost its elasticity. If you feel your straps are fixing too tightly into your shoulders than you must understand that your bra is too small or you need a style that provides a better support to your B 🙂 Also a note that a supportive band, and sticked up cups and under wire always help to mollify the shoulder discomfort.

Hey brabies oppsss newbies, we’ve a quick tip for you. If you feel difficult to handle bra straps or it looks too fit on your body, go and try a bra with a ballet back, racerback or crisscross straps.

Cups

First thing you should be aware of different cup types or bra types e.g half cups, full covered and push up bras. Whatever the cup type you choose, always remember that they should be smooth and uplifting. While you’re wearing the bra, the edges of a perfect bra should lie flat against your body. It should be looking like that your breasts are facing forward and are positioned mid-way between your shoulders and elbows.

If you feel some kind of discomfort like gaping up in the middle, that means the size is not the best bra size for you and need a style with less coverage cups. At the same moment if  your breast tissues feel like spilling over or bulging under the cup, then you are wearing a small size and need to go up a cup size.

Wired or Non Wired

Under wire Bras should fully encircle your breast from under the arm to the front of your chest. While the fact is wired bras give your body a more support and keep your bits in place as well as keep yourself more in prefect shape. While some girls can easily arm them and some might feel difficult to wear as under wire encircle your breast. So it depends which category you belong to. If you are a party girl and not much into doing the house hold chores where you don’t have much activities like sit, stand, hold and move then Wired bras are great for you. Keep note that; If your under wire is uncomfortable or pokes, the cups are too small.

If you are a lady spending more time doing work and different stuff then always opt for the non-wired bra or shuffle it as per the events.

Centre Front

You can say, this is the very first thing for me to notice while I am looking at any bra. As I know the fact that Broad centre fronts are more comfortable and more supportive but still broad centre fronts are usually there in my Bra Guide check list. The reason is, I usually wear the deep front necks and always want to make sure that my bra’s centre front is not visible through my dresses. Even the centre front of your bra is broad or narrow; doesn’t matter, it should be always flat against your skin.

You should always take care that they are flat against the skin and if they are not, then go girl your cups are too small to handle.

Band Fitting

The Band is an elastic wrapped tightly around your body and it should be always level around it. This is the primary option and responsible in terms of proving the support. The fitting should be the way you could able to run a finger under the band. The band should be soft and comfortable in any situation you are, sitting or standing.
