Shopkeepers are rude & unfriendly

While I have been to Goa, the first thing i realized was, most of the seller and shopkeepers were rude and unfriendly. I can understand that they may have got irritated from the different tourists but some time when your genuinely looking for some help, you can’t expect their supportive hand.

Stay away from crooks

It is a usual stuff on any tourist destination but you’ll find lots of labor class karanataka people, just stay away from them they show you some original stuff and can trick you easily by giving the fake product. It also happened with me, if you bought something and you forgot to take the change back, they won’t even remind you that and will let you go.

Networking opportunity

If you are sitting on the beach or chilling in the club or enjoying the live show somewhere, here is a good chance you can find some great mates there who will be chilling just like you. You can even find a great teenagers who can sometime offer to join you can chill with them if you are alone.

Bargain! Pretend to be a frequent visitor

Once you indulge yourself in shopping spree near the beach area or you explore some other market, don’t ever pretend to be a first timer in Goa. As Goa is also a foreigner’s tourist place, It is usual that shop keepers will always try to trick you and sell you the stuff in higher price. Show your Desi Girl Guts and be and Indian! Bargain Bargain and Bargain till the time you find the great price you are looking for. Don’t worry you’ll find the same stuff in next store.

Girls, If you’re alone and sitting on the beach or If some one see you alone chilling on the beach 😉 Some Over cool guys won’t leave a single chance to flirt with you. So girls, you know what they mean but still enjoy the moment and keep going with the flow of conversation 😉

On most of the Goa beaches, you’ll find the attentive safeguards. They are very strict about the safety that they won’t mind to scold anyone coz of safety concerns. I really appreciate this thing about Goa Tourism.

Avoid trip package, instead rent a bike & explore Goa

If you are visiting Goa to relax, enjoy the nature and backwaters, It’s a good idea to ditch the tour package and rent a bike as in tour package, you are always bound in time limits given by your tour guide.

Explore Dine

As it was our first time we visited Goa so we preferred to take the hotel & trip package including meals. I think that was the unfavorable decision we made. I would like to suggest everyone to book the hotel rooms only in advance. Try to enjoy and explore the Goan traditional cuisine. If you book your meals in advance, you’ll always have to bear those hotel meals even if you like it or not.
