Vattakanal

Athirapilly Falls

 Araku Valley

This place lies close to the state border of Orissa in the Eastern Ghats. This is a perfect vacation spot for those who love wildlife and nature. One can take a recluse in the lap of mountains like Galikonda, Raktakonda, and Chitamogondi. This valley is very much connected by roads and railways and so one can easily reach this place and enjoy a few days.

 Devbagh Beach

If one is up for adventures like kayaking, snorkeling and banana boat ride then this thrilling beach activities can only be done here. Also if you are not up to those activities, then you can just relax and watch the sunset at the Devbagh Island and laze around. This beach has an offbeat and serene beauty which is a must visit.

Nagarhole National Park

It is a part of Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve and this place is also labeled as the UNESCO’s World Heritage site. This hunting reserve is there since the Wodeyar dynasty and if one loves wildlife and photography; this is the perfect place for them to visit.

 Badami Caves

It is located in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka state and it is reminiscent of the great Chalukya architectural excellence. This place was also known as the Vatapi Badami as the town was once the capital of the state in the 6th century. If one is fond of history, they can travel back in time by visiting this place.

Pollachi

This place is 40 kilometers drive from Coimbatore and this small picturesque town is a traveler’s heaven. It has a great climate almost throughout the year.
