Healthy eating and great skin goes along but right products plays a big role in keeping our skin beautiful, healthy and problem free. For my acne prone skin, I wanted to get a oil free moisturizer for face within my budget. I thought Neuterogena Pink Grapefruit oil free moisturizer to give it a try. My take on Neutrogena pink grapefruit oil free moisturiser
My main concern was to get an oil free moisturizer with salicylic acid as I am currently using the face wash which contains salicylic acid too. You can check out the benefits of salicylic acid for acne here. The packaging is very clean and simple. It just have a twisted opener to dispense the right amount of product. Also this face moisturizer is a pocket friendly too.
Oh the smell! If you’re into fruity & tangy smells then I bet, you are going to love the smell. At first, I felt like putting the real grapefruit on my face and felt like liking some 😉
I am fine with the quantity in this price, It has been 20 days since I am using this product generously on daily basis and I still have 70 percent of the product left. Here in Canada, it has started snowing and the weather is too cold. I used to apple this oil free moisturizer twice a day or every time i washed my face then I started realizing dry cracky facial skin. Then I decided to skip this oil free moisturizer before bed time.
My skin used to be so oily while I was in India and never had to deal with dry facial skin. But Now I have started realizing that while you are staying in cold weather, you can’t use this face moisturizer always. So I have always try to use the combination of face moisturizers e.g Neuterogena Pink Grapefruit oil free moisturizer in the day time and regular one without salicylic acid in night time. So that, it balances out my natural oils. So far I love this oil free moisturizer and it feels really light once applied on the face. It really keeps your acne in control or once you already have few, it works to vanish them by making them dry.
The only downside is dryness once applied regularly so I recommend to use the regular face moisturizer once a while otherwise your skin is going to feel ripped off.
