I’ve discussed it in my last article about how I’m in Love with this brand Ethicare. As I’ve Non comedogenic—I was in search of an effective gel/cream which suits my skin and plus give me results, too. So I ordered this gel AND let’s get going with review!

Ethicare Sebogel Salicylic Cream V/S My Previous Cream

• Sebogel has got good texture as my previous gel texture was runny.
• This gel has no scent and the previous had some bitter scent that’s why it was difficult to keep it for more than 10 minutes on my face.
• This gel controls and soothes pimple while the previous made the pimple too flaky and left rashes too.
• Both gels are Non comedogenic.
• This gel is reasonably priced as compared to the previous one. It was 350/- 20gms.
• This gel penetrates deep in the skin. The previous one took 5-10 minutes to just settle down.

• Lightens redness in 2-3 days.

Any side effects of salicylic acid?

Ans. It suited my skin type. Even my sister used it—No side effects were seen. So, yes give it a try. But if you experience any rashes or irritation wash it off immediately.

How long to keep this gel on the face?

Ans. Apply this gel on the affected area or pimples 2-3 times a day. If no irritation is experienced, you can keep it on your face like other acne gels.

How often it should be applied?

Ans. For better results 2-3 times a day. Also before sleeping, you can apply it and keep overnight and it will be more effective as it comes in no contact with dust.

It helps in removing blackheads/whiteheads?
Ans. To an extent, YES. But don’t expect results overnight. It takes time. This gel penetrates in your skin and destroy the oily bacteria and grim that has built on the oily skin.

Is it paraben free?

Ans. Yes, it is.
