Best Buffet Restaurants in Pune

Buffet Restaurants in Pune

Little Italy

Italian, Mexican

By far the best buffet restaurant in Pune for sampling Italian food.  It is located conveniently next to Pune Central Mall on University Road and has an option of valet parking, which is a big convenience. The restaurant has a wonderful seating arrangement outside behind the inner seating with a covered roof and it feels pleasant in the summers.

They have options of A-La-Carte as well as Buffet which give more than enough options to choose from.

While on the pricier side, the food definitely tastes authentic and in many ways, worth the price. One big tip is to call ahead and reserve your table else you will have a long wait for your table, especially on weekends.

Little Italy has its own charm and serves the best Italian food in Pune, especially the thin crust pizzas, the white cream pastas and the desserts are simply amazing! The Arrabiata Penne Pasta and Pizza Napoli are highly recommended.

PORTICO, SAYAJI HOTEL

North Indian, Asian, European

As the dictionary suggests portico means porch or made of pillars and roof. The structures and ambience match the meaning properly and food is yummy. Portico restaurant is located a bit far from city limits but it’s worth the long drive. This is at the ground floor of sayaji hotel. Many of international clients are treated here for dinner. They have a valet parking service in case you have a car.

The ambience is quite elegant. The waiters are very courteous. They even offer to make you something which is not in the menu. Having said that you can never eat everything in the menu. They have a lot many options and many in the desserts itself. It’s like “No One Can Eat Just Once…” whether it is their chaats, starters, main course or the best part (Deserts). Everything is awesome. The spread is huge, varied and caters to a variety of tastes. Their continental section is amazing. There is no set sequence for breakfast like dinner or lunch (soups, starters, main course and dessert)  so it enables you to pick, choose & combine with your own preferences. Their live dosa counter dishes out dosas at an incredible pace.

 Malaka Spice

Malaysian, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese,Korean, Asian

The place has a setup for indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is well organised and decorated with lamps kind of lights. There are also many kinds of stuffs displayed for purchase. Loved the whole setup. Table has candle in middle which gives the feeling of candle light dinner.

Malaka Spice has an elaborate menu and everything on the menu has to be tried. Add this to your favorite restaurant list in Pune. A bit expensive, but totally worth it.

Excellent oriental cuisine. Table reservation recommended (They have a happy hour between 4 to 7pm), Very subtle ambience. Perfect herbs and spices blended together in each of the menu yummies. The roti kanai, spring rolls, Vietnamese topaz curry and the list is on. Don’t miss out on the royal chocolate mousse. A must visit in the rainy season for added enjoyment. Nice place for dates and dinners or then enjoyable family lunches! Lingering tastes.

 Barbeque Nation

North Indian, Mughlai

Thinking of a celebration, this is the place, thinking of a mood chiller? This is the place. Thinking of eating good, real good food? This is the place. Starters being the main reason for it. For those who don’t know, BBQ nation is famous for their iconic BBQ tables and live BBQ starters.

The service as always is exceedingly good and prompt. The varieties in both veg and non-veg items is amazing. Desserts, Main course and Starters- everything is right in place. BBQ Nation maintains its standards and levels at all branches, be it just in Pune or anywhere else in India.
Must visit for those who want to hog till their throats with the Buffet Dinner ! 🙂

South Indian

Its located on the 2nd floor opposite to Little Italy. The restaurant space is decent and ambience is nice. You would be welcomed by the staff and the manager would walk you through the items which are on offer in buffet.

Its unique buffet starts with traditional south indian rasam which is a perfect blend of tangy flavors of south.  Moving on to the starters, the starters are a kick before you relish an array of other delicacies that they offer.
