Hope you all are great and rocking as usual. Today’s post is dedicated to lipsticks. You all might know till now, that I started applying lipsticks some years back and I am not that confident in carrying all the colors on me especially the dark shades. But since I love to experiment, I keep on trying new colors on me. Some work fab whereas some don’t work, but still I love lipsticks. So, I have tried a number of shades till date. Be it nude, dark reds, dark pink or fuchsia but there is one color from which I maintained a fair distance and that is orange. I was also shy towards orange colours and my firm belief was that orange lipsticks will never suit me. But anyhow I gathered courage and I finally bought my very first orange colour lipstick – Colorbar Matte Touch Lipstick Two for Tango. let’s see how this Colorbar lipstick fared on me.

Product Claims: It features the glamorous properties of a matte lipstick with velvety finish which will make you fall in love. This amazing lipstick has intense color that is creamy, soft and glides smoothly on application simply moistursing and incredibly wearable yet absolutely matte.

Shelf life: 36 months from the date of packaging

Packaging: The lipstick from the house of Colorbar comes in a simple plain bullet packaging. It is plain steel in colour which looks very classy and simple. The shade name and the shade itself are displayed at the base of the lipstick. This makes customer easier to choose among a wide variety of options available. You need to twist the upper half part of the lipstick so that the lipstick bullet comes out.

Formula: The Colorbar Matte Touch Lipstick – Two for Tango is of matte texture and so the formula is a bit dry. I suggest applying a lip balm underneath then only apply the lipstick especially for the dry lips. The formula of this lipstick is a bit drying but not too much. Other than dry lips all might feel comfortable with this lipstick.

Shade: The shade two for tango is a pretty neon orange shade. The shade will look flattering on fair skin tones. But on duskier skin tones it won’t look that great. Also, this color is not meant for Indian skin tones. It is a cool toned colour which will not suit variety of Indian girls.

Pigmentation: Pigmentation wise the lipstick shade is pretty good. You will get true rich orange colour in single swipe. You can definitely re-apply to build up the colour. The pigmentation is dark enough to cover your dark lips or any other pigmentation. So, a huge plus for pigmented lips.

Longetivity: I have observed that a dark colour lipstick stays longer. So, being a rich dark orange colour also stays pretty long. It stays easily for 5- 6 hours. Even after heavy meals and drinks the colour fades away but not too much. By the end of the day there is a slight tint. The colour fades away maximum by the end of the day.

Suitability: Since this is a matte lipstick. So for dry lips you must apply a lip balm underneath and then only layer this lipstick. For oily and other skin types direct application of lipstick is completely fine.

Conclusion: Overall, this is my first ever orange lipstick and I am in love with it. This is perfect for beginners especially in the shade of orange lipstick for girls like me. I am in love with it. The drying texture is a bit uncomfortable but layering a lip balm underneath will perfectly serve the purpose.
