Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer – Hula Hula

Hello,

Since the Kim Kardarshian’s envy baked faces and makeup looks has taken over the internet and Social Media. We girls can’t stop thinking about those sharp contoured cheeks and desiring jawline. Those sharp features made finding a good bronzer tough enough: There’s cream, liquid, powder; shimmer and matte; plus a variety of shades to choose from. And if you’re in the market for something with a low preservative count and minimal carbon footprint? That’s a tall order.

While hunting for a good bronzer, I discovered this Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer. The moment I saw this shimmery treasure trove, I was stuck and that too as a inexpensive drugstore product. But let’s be more practical and review this product exactly.

Since It was my first time in the store looking for Bronzer, all the way confused about bronzer, highlighter and contouring Palette. But in my mind somewhere I really wanted something to make me look tanned. Anyways I got this.

My Take on Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer

Packaging: It comes with a simple yet cute looking packaging. The opening lid is transparent and Hard Candy is scribbled on it from Silver. It looked simple yet cute to me so I didn’t give much thoughts to it and as it was not inexpensive and bought it right away.

Texture: The texture really smooth, and gives golden shimmery finish. If I just look at it as a product, it really made me feel good about the product.

Usage & Application: Honestly speaking, I really don’t feel and use this product as a bronzer anymore. Staying in Canada, means staying in a multicultural society. Makeup is an Art, its all about choosing the right shade and colors matching or complementing you skin. Being an Indian, I’ve got a light wheatish skin color, I really don’t think I can use this “Hard Candy so Baked Bronzer” as a Bronzer. It is a lighter than my skin shade. It might work great on a white/pale Canadian skin as bronzer. As It’s a lighter shade, I really feel like using it as a highlighter on my face. (Golden highlighter). Personally to me, bronzer is to make someone look naturally suntanned. But as it is too shimmery, it just gives me an artificial look which is sometimes overwhelming at some places; especially in my work hours.

I don’t think this Hard candy so baked bronzer works great on my skin as a bronzer….It’s more of a highlighter to me.
