Finally, I got my hands on this Silk’n Revit Microdermabrasion Device.
So basically, even being a beauty writer or blogger; I was not much aware of this “Microdermabrasion” term. The question is how and why did I get this. BTW this is not a sponsored review or anything and this device was not sent to me by Company. The cost of this device is $99 CAD but I just checked out their Mother’s day deal. You might get a lil bit cheaper than usual.
And I got it from my own fuckin money 🙂
A couple of weeks back, While I was having my Laser hair removal session. I got a few burns on the specific area of my legs. My clinic had to give me some microdermabrasion sessions on those burns. Luckily, they got them covered and I don’t have those marks anymore. Thus I researched more about microdermabrasion and finally got my own home based microdermabrasion facial device.
Let’s talk about what it does? at- least that’s what company says 🙂
- Remove dead skin cells
- Decrease the visibility of acne scars
- Blurs age spots
- Improve skin tightness, elasticity, and texture
- Soften fine lines
- Reveal younger, healthier skin
I have been struggling with acne almost all my life or I can say since 10th standard. I have tried micro needling professionally/at home. It is too painful for me. My one and only purpose is to Decrease the visibility of acne scars. Silk’n Revit uses a diamond tip to gently exfoliate the skin for eliminating the dead cells, and then it vacuums all the dirt. Let’s talk about its pros & cons from my personal experience so that it is easy for you to decide whether Silk’n Revit is for or not!
Who should Get this Device?
- People having acne scars like me
- Who loves microdermabrasion but can’t afford the professional sessions regularly.
- If you love deep cleaning once a while.
- looking for a cheap yet effective way to pamper your skin
- love to travel, it’s very compact and easy to carry
- one-time investment goes a long way
Who shouldn’t Invest in this Device?
- If you already have a great skincare regime
- If you scrub your face regularly
- If you’re only satisfied with professional clinical sessions
- People with extra sensitive skin, as it sucks in your skin kind hard.

I have had my own home microdermabrasion session twice and I must say I really had my face deep cleaned. It doesn’t give you any downtime but since my skin is always reddish, I have to stay at home for a few hours to get my skin into its normal state. I would personally recommend this home-based microdermabrasion device.
