My Effortless Travel Beauty Beach Diary!

My hero product: I always keep a travel-size version of my favorite anti breaking face cream on the plane and use it to save my skin from breaking out. And incase I forget to bring, I like to stop by the duty-free beauty area on airport and slather a pea size of rich face cream. This is also a great way to test out other fancy face creams, too. Such a travel veteran move 😉

Beach hair, don’t care: I think personally our most beautiful in their natural state and nothing is more natural than wave-tossed hair especially on the beach. Beach hair feels so light-hearted and easy-going and it’s a great yes effortless excuse to have messy, low-maintenance tresses.

To keep my tresses healthy, I comb tons of Homemade sesame seed oil through my hair once a week and let it soak overnight. I’ll also rub in a pea-size drop of oil every morning to combat harsh salt water and the sun. I shampoo with a not-so-harsh hair cleanser to keep it from getting gaudy.

Beauty tips for other beach girls:
1. Lotus sunscreen moisturizes your skin beautifully and smells great.
2. Lip tints are great for those beach sunny days. They fade slowly but don’t smudge, and are non-sticky, so you can spend a day on the beach without having sand stick to your lips.
3. The more natural you can keep your skin, the better you feel. Any white powdery products look weird in hot weather, so nail a dewy glow instead of using too much foundation or powdery compact.

My makeup mantra: I usually like to skip makeup when I’m relaxing and enjoying by the beach. I tend to just wear lipstick or gloss at night and keep my skin clean and fresh.
But, you can ‘pull off’ any beauty look — depends on your personal choice. When I wear coral lips, I receive compliments. But I swear, any girl looks great in just about any lip color. It just might take some time to get used to it on yourself or give you that It’s-my-life kind of confidence. Wear it around the house for a few hours before you jump to any typical conclusions.
